Matilda Bay Brewing Company wins another big award
Western Australia’s Matilda Bay Brewing Company won the Grand Champion Brewing Award at the 2008 Australia International Brewing Awards. This win was on the heels of the brewery’s Alpha Pale Ale being named Champion beer at the Sydney Royal Beer Competition.
The Australian International Beer Awards attracted 1084 entries from 217 breweries across 42 countries, the most ever in the competition’s history.
